YWCA CAMP CAVELL

Arrival Time & Camp Transportation

You are welcome to drive up to camp on opening day of the session or you can arrange for a seat on one of our camp vans for a fee of $25 round trip.

If you use your OWN TRANSPORTATION, we will expect you to arrive at camp between 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, and pick up at camp at 11:00 a.m on Saturday.

If you reserve a seat on VAN TRANSPORTATION please arrive 20 min. early to complete check in. Condense luggage & packages as much as possible, please secure & label everything!

A van departs Sunday from the Northwest Branch at Grand River and Beech Daly Roads in Redford at 12:30 pm.

It returns on Saturday (except for mini-session) to the Northwest Branch at 1:00 pm.

We ask that you have campers eat ahead of time and bring no snacks on van. They are welcome to bring a closeable water bottle. Remember to bring trading post money with you to hand the van driver.

DIRECTIONS to NORTHWEST YWCA STOP:
The NORTHWEST YWCA is at the corner of Grand River and Beachdaly Roads in Redford. It is located just a 1/2 south of 8 mile on Beechdaly and a little over a mile West of Telegraph (US 24) on Grand River. The YWCA building surrounds the Kroger Store.
