Great times Exploring Michigan!

This trip is planned each year with input from campers and staff and explores different areas of Michigan.  Each year they go in a different direction!  It almost always includes some hiking,  a waterfall,  lots of swimming, some tubing, and sometime boating!

There is always a couple of extra items like a ferry ride, boat trip, or tour!  You will need to bring $30 extra for these events.

You will work together to plan our food, pack our van and put together a fantastic trip. You will stay at campgrounds and other summer camps along the way!

Your last day will be spent packing, relaxing and taking in the sights!

Hit the Trail in Beautiful Country with new Friends and Old!

Let’s go! We will spend four nights camping at our base camp in northern Michigan. On two days we will head out on trail rides (western style) at a wonderful nearby ranch!

We will plan our food, pack our gear and head out for a great time. The horses will be provided by a local riding stable and we will see some of Michigan's most beautiful forest area.

We will eat our lunch on the trail, swim, hike and just enjoy the outdoors! Of course back at Camp Cavell we will have English riding lessons and spend time learning trail safety. MUST BE an experienced rider and be able to control your horse in a walk, trot and canter.
