Dear Friends, Joyce Lower, a former President of the YWCA Board of Directors, contacted us to let us know that her mother, Marion Quenneville had passed away. Marion was living in a very nice apartment in a senior center and had done well up to a few months ago. We would like to pass our prayers and loving thoughts on to Joyce and her family. |

| Marion came into our lives soon after I started at camp in 1984. I was told that even though we had not had a full time director in several years there was still a Camp Cavell Committee. I called the chairperson Marguerite Hague and she called a meeting of a small group of committed women who still truly believed in the camp. |

Marion was one of those wonderful women and she continued to serve and support camp throughout the years. You could always count on Marion to be at every event and meeting with a smile and a kind and helpful word. Marion would listen carefully and make sure we considered all sides to the problems we faced. | |
| Marion and her good friend Dorothy Getz would arrive early for our meetings at camp and you could always count on finding them enjoying the sunshine on the porch of the lodge overlooking the lake. Marion and the women of that committee have truly kept Camp Cavell alive and passed the torch on to others whose job it is to now shepherd it into the future. |

The service will be held at 11 a.m. next Saturday, at the Birmingham Unitarian Church (west side of Woodward, about the 2nd driveway north of Lone Pine Road, there are two parking lot entrances for the church off Lone Pine Road). Burial is planned for Thursday, Jan. 25, in Uxbridge, MA. | |

MEMORIAL FUND Marion never stopped caring about camp and Joyce wanted us to know that memorials can be made to Camp Cavell. It seemed fitting that they be used toward our Farnsworth Lodge Restoration Project. |
