Dear Friend of Camp Cavell,
YWCA Camp
Cavell is in immediate need of help.
As you may have heard the United Way Community Service and other funding
sources were forced to reduce allocations as to organizations throughout
our community. This has had a negative impact on many non profits in the
metropolitan area who serve children including YWCA Camp Cavell.
 In 2005
when we would like to be focusing on the future, we find ourselves
struggling to raise $60,000 to ensure we are able to serve all of our
campers this year! To meet this challenge, the YWCA Camp Cavell Committee
is reaching out to ask for help. We are asking you to join us by
making a donation that will help take Camp
Cavell into the future.
Your tax
deductible donation would help provide enriching opportunities for women,
girls, and families throughout our community. Additionally, your donation
will help us in serving the fifty or more non-profit organizations such as
Muscular Dystrophy Association, American Heart Association (stroke victims
and families), ARC, County Mental Health Groups, Interim House (our
domestic violence shelter), and the many others that regularly utilize
camp.
 We KNOW
that camping programs across the country have helped to give many women
the leadership skills that have needed to work in the business world. We
KNOW that the camp experience provides positive opportunities for personal
growth and understanding of others. Help us continue this 90 year
tradition.

truly appreciate any level of support you might be able to offer. Please
